Lights Out

I might have mentioned by now that

I am busy,

But too often

Eyes are the priceless prize that draw a finger to my lips,

Placing hope upon hips

Exposed to your eyes only.

Tonight

Hanging all of my disguises,

The surprise is that nobody saw

How naked I was with them on.

Light out.

Stripped of colour.

Bare.

I figured that the parts of me

Were making it hard to be one colour

So I wore them all at once

And now,

Pinning up my smile

To iron out the creases,

I recognise nothing.
